How does SpamTrap work?
In a nutshell, when your account is setup, a small change is made to your email server DNS record. This change directs your email to a SpamTrap server. SpamTrap then scans all your emails and within a second or so sends legitimate emails to your email server for you to download. You decide how SpamTrap handles detected spam – SpamTrap can either delete it at the server, forward it to a separate email box or tag it for disposition by the recipient. SpamTrap does not require the installation of any software or hardware on your system. Your email server and email settings on individual computers require no changes at all.
