How does someone get banned?
Through a lengthy process filled with checks and balances. 1) Members of the user community report someone who is violating TV.com policy. 2) A random forum moderator reviews each report and decides if it’s valid. If it is, they send out a moderation report via PM and delete the post or thread. 3) If a user continues violating policy, they eventually get a suspension of 1-7 days. 4) If after the suspension is over they continue to violate TV.com policy, they receive more PM warnings. 5) After more warnings, at least two forum moderators must agree to send the user’s moderation history to the TV.com staff. 6) TV.com staff review the matter further and decide if a ban is warranted.
