Tides are caused mainly by the moon’s gravitational pull on the ocean. By being synchronised to the moon’s daily cycle mobiletide will align itself to the current state of tide at just about any coastal location of your choice. Everything mobiletide needs to work out the tide is stored onto your phone when you first download the application so there’s no need for constant internet charges or hidden fees.
