How does Lumeno.us organize expense and revenue categories so different members can make accurate comparisons?
Our method for ensuring “apples-to-apples” comparisons is the Shared Business Language (SBL). This mechanism provides a way for members to map their own unique way of categorizing business expenses and revenues to community refined terms. We have seeded the SBL with 60 common terms. Over time, community use of these terms will evolve into community-driven “top tag” lists that reflect the best models for tracking numbers in the community at large as well as sub-groups organized around industries and business types.
