The club can give grading exams for up to 2nd Kyu, but keep in mind grading is strictly optional. 1st Kyu or above may be granted at annual grading events in Toronto (Summer and December).

To verify that you have spent the appropriate amount of time, and learned an appropriate amount of knowledge, for a self-study course, you are required to complete an exam for that course. You must receive a passing grade of at least 70% on most courses before CPE credit and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded. Each of our courses contains an open-book multiple choice exam for this purpose. After you have completed studying the course materials, you should complete the exam. There is also a course evaluation form that must be completed. You may complete your exam online. Go to Complete My Exam and select the exam you want to take online. When you have successfully completed an exam online, a Certificate of Completion will be presented for you to print for your records.
