How does an REU student obtain housing and a meal plan for Summer Session?
Housing arrangements are on an individual basis. Please contact the professor you will be working for to see if housing arrangements are included in your work contract. If housing is not being arranged by the hiring professor, information on summer housing and meal plan applications is available on the Summer Session web site (http://www.nd.edu/~sumsess/) under the Cost/Fees link. The department you will be working for may have already made arrangements for your housing; therefore please do not fill out this application for summer housing without first speaking with your hiring professor. For example, Biology and Physics REU students do not fill out the summer housing application. The Biology and Physics departments will send a list to the Housing Office of their REU students.
