How does an item qualify to be black or blue?
I have extensive pricing databases which require 16-22 hours a week to maintain and update. Each sale item (advertised and UN-advertised) that also has a coupon is run through the database. The database then reveals whether or not that item is on a “Rock Bottom Sale”. Most sales go through cycles. If you see a coupon used on a black item, buy that item only if you need it. If you see a coupon used on a blue item, stock up! This is a “rock bottom” sale. Oftentimes, an item is not published even though there is a coupon AND it is on sale. My database even tells me how long it may be before a “Rock Bottom Sale” comes along. If the coupon’s expiration date permits, we wait for a “Rock Bottom Sale”… somewhat like a stock broker! This is only one example of what goes on behind the scenes each week to create The LIST! As you will find, your weekly savings are no coincidence. The LIST is strategically planned!
