AltDrive uses 32 bit CRCs on each file and data block transferred. After a transfer has completed the data is checked for integrity by comparing the CRCs. Additionally the file lengths must match.

AltDrive uses 32 and 64 bit CRCs on each file and another 32 bit CRC on each data block transferred. After a transfer has completed the data is checked for integrity by comparing the CRCs. Additionally the file lengths must match as well as a progressive 64 bit CRC.
