How does a dual line doser work?
During normal sequential operation, dosers with two outlets feed lubricant to opposite sides of the outlet connections. The pressure in the line increases during pressurization and the doser pilot valve moves to its extreme position, whereupon the lubricant moves the piston. When the piston moves, it pushes the lubricant through the base plate check valve to the lubrication pipe or lubrication hose and further to the lubrication point. When the pumping starts again, the directional valve directs the lubricant to another main line whereupon the doser pilot valve directs the lubricant to the opposite side of the piston. When the piston moves, it pushes the lubricant through the base plate check valve and further to the lubrication point.
