How Do You Teach A Young Child To Read?
Sometimes the easiest solution is the best. I tried all sorts of learning tools, but when it was all said and done closed captioning on my television set and spending time with my child reading aloud to them worked the best. Your child is never too young to learn to read. Buy sponge blocks with words on each side. Not only is it safe for them to play with, it also doesn’t hurt as much when they hit you in the head. Buy toys that not only talk, but have visual pictures and words printed on them. When driving read the signs you see out loud. Sing along with commercials like McDonald’s or Burger King on TV. Song writers are paid a lot of money to create jingles that you’ll remember. Read your child children stories from books and let them look along as you read. Especially good when pictures are supplied. Visit your nearest library, and see when they have storybook time. This is a great way to learn in a group setting, especially when other children are reading aloud as well. Check out pi
