You’ve just found out – your husband is having an affair. You want to confront him, but you don’t how. Take a deep breath, relax, and think this through. You aren’t the first person to go through this…you can do it! First, make sure you have your facts straight. It’s not a good idea to accuse your spouse based on a rumor you heard “through the grapevine”. You may even want to have proof of the infidelity: an article of clothing, a cell phone bill, or even a picture of the two of them together. Choose a public place. This could be a park or a restaurant – any place busy enough where you can talk without eavesdroppers, but quiet enough that you can speak without distractions. Having other people around helps you to keep your calm and avoid a situation where tempers could get out of control. Plan what you want to say ahead of time.
