How Do You Set Up Road Runner Email With Thunderbird?
Thunderbird is an email program designed by Mozilla. In older versions of Thunderbird, new email accounts had to be set up step-by-step, with users manually inputting account information, including user name, password, incoming and outgoing mail servers, port numbers and security authentication settings. Fortunately, the newer 3.0 version of Thunderbird allows users to set up an account with an email provider such as Road Runner more easily. Thunderbird can automatically configure most of the settings. Open Thunderbird and click “Tools” on the upper-left menu in the Thunderbird window. Click “Account Actions” then “Add Mail Account.” Type your display name, Road Runner email address and password. Click “Continue.” Click “Stop” when Thunderbird tries to automatically configure your email settings.
