How Do You Remove Sap From Clothing?
Sap can end up on your clothing whether you are camping, doing yardwork, or simply sitting on a wood bench. It can leave you in a sticky situation when regular laundry detergent won’t remove the sap. It can be tempting to throw away the clothing and buy something entirely new. Here is a simple, easy way to remove sap from your clothes with simple items you probably already have in your home. Wash the peice of clothing in cold water. This will help get any debris off of your clothes that might have stuck to the sap. Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a clean washcloth or Q-tip. If the sap is on cotton clothing, do not worry about using too much alcohol. Rubbing alcohol will not hurt cotton clothing. Dap the alcohol onto the sap stain and rub. Continue rubbing until the alcohol has removed the sap. You can wash the clothing again if you wish, but the alcohol will dry on its own without damaging the clothing. Enjoy your restored clothing and the money you saved!
