Microsoft Telnet Client is a communication program used to access remote computers to share files and data. The application allows you to copy, delete and update files, records and other information on a system via Internet or modem connections. Microsoft Telnet is one of many programs within the Windows System32 folder. The program poses a security risk as others can access your system using Microsoft Internet Explorer and Telnet. Microsoft Telnet has to be removed manually and you’ll have to account for the change in the Windows Registry file. Step 1 Double click on the “C:\” drive. Step 2 Double click on the “Windows” folder and double click on the “System32” folder. Step 3 Right click on the “telnet” file.
