How Do You Program A GE Remote Control?
Televisions, such as those from GE, can come with a universal remote that you can program to work with other types of audio and video equipment such as a DVD player, cable box second television. In order to program a GE remote with another device you will need to enter a code into the remote. You have the option of using an auto-search feature or manually programming the remote. Turn on the device that you want to program with the GE remote. You can program a TV, DVD player or an auxiliary device. Press the “Setup” or “Code Search” button on the remote (depending on which GE model you own). Press the button on the remote for the device that you want to program. The red indicator light will flash once and then remain on. Enter the three- or four-digit code for the device into the remote using the numbers on the keypad.
