How Do You Plant A Window Box?
A colorful and attractive window box can really improve the curb appeal of your home. If your home does not have a window box already, a visit to your home improvement store can offer you many options. If you do not have a place for a window box, there are boxes now that are designed to sit on deck rails, patios and even steps leading to your front door. If applicable, clean out old flowers or debris from your window box. If your window box is attached to your house and made of wood, let’s protect your home and box from any water damage. Cut open a large, heavy duty landscaping garbage bag. Line your window box on the inside with this cut bag and use a staple gun to attach the bag as a liner. Once you have done this, it will last for many years before needing to be replaced. Poke holes in the bottom of your liner to allow drainage.
