How Do You Memorize A Classical Piano Song?
• Pick out your favorite Classical music from a music book, or sheet music. • Play the song a few measures at a time and adding more slowly • Understand the timing, the chords, and the scale of the piece. Play it with one hand and then the other hand separately. • When you have practiced it this way for a week, try putting the two hands together. Play it slowly and concentrate until your mind and fingers start to play together. When you have practiced it this way, try to play it with out looking at the music as much. Eventually your fingers will know their way around the keyboard, so you will no longer have to rely on the music to be in front of you.
