Headbands are a popular hair accessory that come in a variety of designs. Some are plain in a solid color, while others are fancier and adorned with flowers or jewels. Women love headbands, because headbands can transform a simple hairstyle into one that is much more stylish and chic. Unfortunately, headbands can be painful, because they fit snugly around the head. Some people even experience headaches from wearing headbands for too long. Attach a faux fur or fleece trim on the inside of the headband, using fabric glue. This added padding will soften the impact of the headband against your head, making it less painful. Glue 2 small pieces of acrylic pompons onto the bottom of the headband (the part that goes behind each ear) to provide cushioning.
