How Do You Make Falafel(Holy Land, Israel)?
Falafel is a Middle East dish(vegetarian), but has become popular all over the world. When you come to Israel you will find in almost every corner a falafel. Originally its made from Egypt but spread all over the Middle East and now all over the world. 2 cups of dried chickpeas or 32 oz. (Add the chickpeas in a bowl covering with cold water add 2 tsp baking soda and allow to soak overnight 1 large onion, chopped 4-5 cloves of garlic, chopped 1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped 1 handful of fresh coriander, chopped 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp black pepper Salt(upon test) 2 tsp flour Oil for frying Combine chickpeas, garlic, parsley, coriander, cumin, onion, black pepper, salt, flour in food processor until you get thick paste.
