How Do You Make Cranberry Relish Scones?
When I wind up with leftover cranberry relish this is my favorite after Thanksgiving use. My relish is made up of cranberries, oranges and apples with a little sugar. I often make extra just so I can freeze it and have it on hand for future winter mornings. If you don’t have relish on hand you can also use a 1/2 cup finely chopped cranberries with 2 tablespoons orange juice. These are so delicious with a cup of coffee or glass of milk. I always make cranberry scones for my guests because it is quick and easy and make me feel like I am running a bed and breakfast. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Then, lightly butter a 10 inch-diameter circle in the center of a baking sheet. In a small bowl, stir together the cranberry relish and 2 tablespoons of the sugar.
