How Do You Learn To Shuffle Dance?
You’ve seen them sliding and gliding around on the streets and in the clubs, those dance kings and queens who make shuffle dance look like child’s play. While it may look hard, the fundamental are relatively simple. The main objective of the shuffle dance is to move through space by sliding on one foot as the other is used to add flair to your dancing. Once you get the basic steps down, you too can be on your way to shuffling with the best of them. Stand with both feet flat on the ground. Point the toes of one foot inward, and the other foot pointed forward, so that your feet make a “T” shape. Twist the foot that’s pointed inward to the outside, and then twist back in again. You want to make sure your shuffle foot stays on the ground in order to get that sliding effect. Slightly lift your other leg straight up and down, making sure the leg goes up when your first foot twists inward, and down when it twists outward. Take it slowly at first to get the coordination of this move down. Inst
