A survey conducted by Harris Interactive in January 2007 among 2413 adults in the United States found that 69 percent of cell phone owners who made calls on their cell phones at home reported that they had missed or dropped phone calls due to areas in their homes with poor reception. Many study participants reported that they had tried many techniques–such as standing in closets, turning their heads at odd angles and standing on higher surfaces (including furniture)–in efforts to improve their cell signal. = While not all dead spots can be remedied, there are some things you can do to help improve your cell signal.
