Here are some troubleshooting tips to help you get out of the calibration loop the next time you find yourself stuck there. Step 1 Clean the screen. Examine the edges to make sure there are no pieces of lint lodged between the screen and the frame of the PDA. If there is, pick it out with a pair of tweezers. It may be placing enough weight on the screen to confuse the PDA’s calibration system. If you can’t get the lint with the tweezers, try slipping a piece of paper between the frame and the screen. Step 2 Use the “Up,” “Down,” “Left” and “Right” button instead of the stylus to try to get out of digitizer calibration mode. Sometimes the PDA can pick up the signal from it rather than the screen.
