Exercise regularly to strengthen the muscles that support your back. Consider taking daily walks to have healthier knees and joints. Chronic back pain sufferers should also exercise in warm water. Ease out of bed. Take your time getting out of bed. Bend your knees and slowly turn where your feet rest over the side of the bed. Move to the edge of the bed and slowly push yourself up. Do not pop-up and jump out of bed. Certain jolts could cause you to sprain your back and trigger chronic back pain.
