How Do You Draw A Battle Ax?
The battle ax has had a long reign as one of the most brutal and powerful fantasy weapons. Many heroes have appeared wielding a battle ax in literature and movies. Conan the Barbarian, Gimli the dwarf from “The Lord of The Rings,” and many of the characters in the pulp fantasy art of Frank Frazetta. This article will show you a step-by-step method for taking basic shapes and creating your own drawing of a powerful battle ax. Draw the basic building blocks for the battle axe. Draw a rectangle for the head of the axe. Add the blades with circle sections, as in the drawing here. Add a line on top of the rectangle for a spike. Draw the handle with two parallel lines connecting to the base of the axe head. Add a small circle on the bottom of the shaft. Add two small rectangles inside the axe.
