Gymnasts are constantly placing their wrists in high impact and awkward positions. Because of this, it is extremely important for these athletes to stretch their wrist to prevent any injuries. The following steps will tell you how to stretch your wrists like a gymnast. Place your hands together as if you were praying. Rotate your hands around each other and hold each position for 10 to 15 seconds. You will want to repeat this process at least 3 times each way. Move your hands in a wave motion while keeping the same clasp with your hands. Repeat this motion for 10 to 15 seconds to make sure you receive an optimal wrist stretch.
