The Registry Editor is a program containing registry keys and values. These registry keys and values determine how your computer runs. Consequently, by removing certain keys you can remove certain programs, such as Norton 360. While removing a program through the Registry Editor is a thorough way to remove a program, it is also a risky way to remove a program. This is because removing the wrong registry key can impair your computer. Hold down the Windows key and press “R.” The Run box opens.
