Wedding invitations are often the first glimpse your guests get of your wedding. The invitations hint at the theme and style you have chosen. You may choose to create them yourself. This adds a special touch to the invitations, and allows you to enjoy the creative process. And the wedding invitations can be just as expensive looking as if you had them done by a professional. The easiest way to make your own wedding invitations is to purchase a wedding invitation kit from a craft store. This kits includes the blank cards, envelopes, and maybe ribbon and vellum. Or you could make your own cards by buying cardstock and envelopes, and creating blank cards from the cardstock. Use your computer to pull up a blank Word document. (Any word processing software will work.) Type the invitation information using your preferred font. A more traditional font is calligraphy style. Include the date, time, location, and RSVP information. More traditional invitations also include a kind of introduction.
