How Do You Convert ASF To MPEG Free?
The Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) is a file extension used to save either audio or video files. ASF is meant to be a cross platform extension that can be opened by nearly any standard video playback software program. There are a few playback programs that are unable to open ASF files such as those found on handheld devices. You may convert ASF files to a different format such as the Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG) extension if you are having trouble getting the ASF file to play correctly. Select the program you want to use to convert your ASF file to an MPEG. Two such free programs are Boilsoft ASF Converter and Apex ASF Converter (see links in Resources). Press “Enter.” Download and install the program. Open the conversion program once it has installed, and then click “Add” on the left side of the window.
