How Do You Clean Townecraft Cook Ware?
Cleaning Townecraft cook ware correctly involves following a special procedure. This cook ware is not cheap so you will want to take good care of it. If you keep it clean, it will look good for years to come. Remove any food stuck to the pan by boiling a small amount of water in the bottom of the pan to loosen it. Dump out the hot water before continuing the cleaning. I like to then use a small plastic scraper to remove it completely. Use the Bar Keeper’s friend to clean the inside and bottom of the pan. Use soapy water to clean stainless steel outside. Be sure to clean the inside lip of the pan. For this I usually use a sponge with a scratchy side. Try to use the scratchy side as little as possible to limit possible scratching of your pan. Definitely don’t use it on the stainless steel outside.
