How Do You Be A Responsible Parent?
• Remember to be on time when dealing with young children. Your child looks for you at certain times of the day. • Don’t hang around. When dropping them off in the morning please don’t get into the habit of lingering, it gives the false sense of you staying. • Attend school occasions. Even with our busy schedules please attend Parent Teacher Organization, and report card nights, This is a major key in your child’s education, if you are not involved you the parent haven’t a clue what is really being taught. Remember, even though your taxes pay for public school systems, it doesn’t insure your child getting a great teacher every year. • Avoid heated discussions in front of a child. When there’s a problem with the school please remove the child from the room if you feel that the conversation is going to get heated, remember the child will mimic what they see their parents do. Be the driver.
