LCCC’s Business Division and Engineering Division both have technology-based programs. Although they share some common ground, they have different focuses and serve different purposes. Students should consider what their goals are when deciding which program is best for them. The Business Division’s CISS programs include Networking, Software Development and Web Development.. The Engineering Division, in addition to offering CAD/CAM programs and the University of Toledo Computer Science University Partnership, also offer an Associates Program in Electronic Engineering Technology (Computer Maintenance and Networking). The Business Division’s CISS degrees focus on the use of technology in solving Business problems. The Engineering Divisions offerings focus on the use of technology in manufacturing and the repair of hardware – with the University of Toledo program being a more theoretical program.
