How do students complete clinical and field rotations at a distance?
Students would be required to establish a relationship with a clinical and/or field internship site in their area. Once established, a contact sheet will need to be filled out and emailed to the Clinical Coordinator so that a Memorandum of Agreement can be made between NMETC and the site. If no clinical affiliation can be made in the students area, the student has the option to travel to Massachusetts or Texas to complete the clinical and field internships portion of the program. The training center is also in the process of securing regionalized clinical and field sites, to further facilitate the clinical and field internship requirement.
