How do online tutoring providers monitor the progress of my child?
An initial assessment is performed to determine the students strengths and weaknesses in the subject. With this initial assessment, you are able to identify how the student compares with his or her state standards. On-going homework, quizzes, and exams will be given to the student to reinforce the concepts learned in the classroom. On-going assessments will be given to students to measure students progress. These post-assessments help the tutoring provider to determine whether the weak areas of the student is being improved upon, the students strong areas are maintained, and whether the student is making progress towards the next grade level.
