How do I setup Outlook Express to access newsgroups and post messages?
To setup Outlook Express as your newsgroup client you need to take the following steps. • On the menu bar of Outlook Express go to Tools ->Accounts, then click on the News tab. • Click Add -> News. • Then follow the instructions to type in your screen name and email address. • Type in news.uwaterloo.ca as your News(NNTP) Server. • You will be asked whether you want to download a list of available newsgroups. Select ‘Yes’. • Click on the left panel to see the newsgroups and the messages.On the top left corner you will see the ‘Post’ button which will allow you to post messages to newsgroups in Outlook Express.
