How do I request public records under the Freedom of Information Act?

Jim Plonczynski and Paula Schumacher are the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) officers for Village records. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests must be in writing. Requests can be submitted to the Village of Bartlett by personal delivery, mail or fax. For your convenience, the Village has two forms available, one for general requests and one for Police Department requests. You can obtain a request form at the Village Hall Main Office, Police Department or Community Development Department or by using the links near the bottom of the Village’s FOIA information page.
