How do I purchase a gift off a WishList?
To purchase items off a WishList, first you have to find the individual’s WishList. This is described above. Once you’ve located a WishList, you may view items on the list by selecting the list you’re interested in. There may be more than one WishList listed for various occasions or recipients in the family. Once you’ve found the perfect gift, select the “Buy” button next to it. This will bring you to where you can reserve the gift and then purchase the gift. You need to reserve the gift so that others won’t buy the gift too at a later time. IMPORTANT: WishList.com does not sell items. You need to purchase the item from its corresponding retailer. Each wish has a link to where it can be purchased. Once you’ve reserved a gift, you’ll receive an email confirming your reservation.
• In order to purchase a gift you’ve found on a WishList, click on the “Reserve then Buy” link next to the Wish. Follow the instructions to reserve the Wish prior to being sent to the retailer’s site to complete your purchase. This is important so that the gift recipient does not receive more of that Wish than he or she desires.
