How do I make my husband responsible towards his duties?
Let me guess…World of Warcraft or something similar? That used to make me so mad when my ex husband would sit there and play that and not help around the house and make himself late for work because he “couldn’t” quit playing because his character was in a dangerous spot or he was questing with other people and they would be upset if he didn’t finish whatever it was they were trying to do. Now that I play this game too, I understand how it is. You get really absorbed in it, and it’s hard to put down. But he must remember that he can log out at any time. Yes, his little virtual character may die or he may annoy some teenagers in Arkansas who wanted his help to get the Amazing Cloak of Fiery Doom, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter. A few things you could try: -See if you can get him to agree not to log on to the game in the evenings until after he’s had dinner with you and the kid and helped around the house a little.
