How do I make a stock donation to the Future of Flight Foundation?
The best way to make a gift of appreciated securities is to contact our Development Director, provide the name of the stock, the number of shares you are contributing, and the name of your broker. We will assist you with the procedure for completing the gift. It’s most advantageous to you to transfer the shares intact to the Future of Flight Foundation, not to sell the stock yourself or have your broker sell it. Certificate stock gifts will be acknowledged on the date the shares are delivered to the Foundation or on the postmarked date. Electronic transfers will be recognized on the date the shares are received by the Foundation bank.
