How Do I Import Data With The Degree Symbol In Unicode-UTF8 Format?
The degree symbol in the feature_str_lat and feature_str_lon field is not compliant with UTF8. When importing as UTF8, some database management systems will raise an error or strip this character from the imported data. If importing as UTF8, it is recommended that the feature.txt file either first be preprocessed to substitute this character, or that these fields not be imported. Substituting the character will not cause problems since the rest of the fields are UTF8 compliant.
