How do i get rid of skunk smell in my house?
There are a few things you will need to do to get rid of the skunk smell in your house. The first method that tends to work best is to use an ozone machine. They can be rented or operated for you by a restoration company (like ServPro). Generally takes 12-24 hours for it to be effective. If you or your pet, however, have been sprayed you may want to try one of the several ways of getting rid of the smell. Try a peroxide & baking soda bath, or an orange bath. Some people have even used soda pop to bath and shampoo with!! Therre are also commercial “deskunking” shampoos and soaps as well.
