How do I clean my Kinser sprint car filter?
Cleaning your Kinser sprint car filter is very easy. Simply remove the filter foams and outerwear and clean in a mixture of mild soap and water. This will cause all of the debris trapped in the filter to be released. Rinse the foam and outerwear with water thoroughly and allow to dry. Once the foams and outerwear are dry, oil the foam with Klotz Filter Oil and place the foam and outerwear back over the basket and re-install on the car. The frequency of cleanings depends on the amount of dirt and debris trapped in the filter foam. While some teams run their filters multiple times before cleaning and re-oiling–for best results we suggest cleaning the filter and re-oiling after each race weekend.
