How do I change the text on my OSX 10.5 dashboard?

The problem-description is the contrary to yours (very big fonts) but sounds similar. Here is the description from the discussion I linked as source: ———- snip I solved it myself with the help of another thread so here’s the solution for everyone (including APPLE TECH SUPPORT who is clueless about this) 1) Drag these 2 files to your desktop from your User/Preferences Folder. com.apple.dashboard.client.plist com.apple.dashboard.plist 2) For me, this was caused by enabling Universal Access in Safari & setting a minimum font size to 14, then clipping something to the Dashboard. The problem doesn’t show up until the next log in of the User who did this. I fixed it by turning off Universal Access temporarily; removing the old web clips; making a new web clip; logging out; logging in; removing the web clip (might not be necessary) & then re-enabling Universal Access. Motto: don’t make clips to Dashboard with Universal Access enabled. ———- snip There is another discussion at
