The first thing that came to mind was to use the XML format. While this method does work, it’s certainly NOT the method that most would want to use. I suspect most of you are not computer people or know much about XML. So I have found an easy solution for you. The Blackboard Quiz Generator utility offered by Wythwille Community College offers the convenience of preparing your quiz questions with a word processor into a text file. The file is then converted into 1 ZIP file that BlackBoard Pool Manager understands. This ZIP file can then be imported into a pool in your course and you can then pick the questions from your pool for later use. Wythwille Community College generously allows BlackBoard instructors to use this utility on their site.
