How do generate a quiz pool using a text file instead of typing one question at a time?
The first thing that came to mind was to use the XML format. While this method does work, it’s certainly NOT the method that most would want to use. I suspect most of you are not computer people or know much about XML. So I have found an easy solution for you. The Blackboard Quiz Generator utility offered by Wythwille Community College offers the convenience of preparing your quiz questions with a word processor into a text file. The file is then converted into 1 ZIP file that BlackBoard Pool Manager understands. This ZIP file can then be imported into a pool in your course and you can then pick the questions from your pool for later use.
