Have you ever wondered why people created myths? Here is your answer! Ancient people created myths to explain things that they could not explain. Things in nature that people didn’t understand were often explained with gods, goddesses, and mythical creatures. Early humans didn’t have the technology to explain ideas scientifically so instead they created fictional creatures and interesting and creative tall tales. They found myths to be easier to believe than trying to think of other explanations. Even today some people believe all the ancient myths.
