How did Jackie and Hyde get together in the current season?
A little background: Jackie and Kelso were having relationship problems and trust issues during Season Four. Although he had cheated many, many, many times in the past and was a total whoredog, Kelso could not accept that Jackie had accidentally kissed her boss at the cheese shop. Jackie proposed that Kelso be allowed to kiss any girl at the Hub to make up for her mistake. Kelso ended up chosing Jackie. She then proposed that they get married and stop the whole lack-of-trust, on again off again crap. Kelso ran away to California in response. So, Season Five opens with the shocker of seeing Jackie and Hyde making out. We discover that Jackie sent Kelso a letter in California breaking up (as though him running away wasn’t enough?) and that Kelso had been trying to get a girl named Annette to sleep with him in California.
