How can I reset my playcount for a particular song or artist?
On a PC/Windows, you can reset the playcount for a particular song or artist if you use your mouse to right-click the song within-iTunes, and select “Reset Play Count”. This will set the playcount to zero in iTunes, and this will eventually show up on your iLike.com profile within a day or so. The best way to make sure it is reflected as quickly as possible is to shut down iTunes, restart iTunes, and then leave it running until the change is detected and sent to iLike.com. We’re still working on enabling a similar solution for users of Mac or for Windows Media Player. For now you can HIDE a particular artist which makes it look like you’ve never played their music ever. (more info: How do I hide particular artists or songs from … ). We know that’s not the same thing, but it’s the only solution available until we come up with something to really solve the issue.
