Comment properties only change the color or caption for the currently selected comment. To set the default color or caption for a comment type use the Comment options instead. To access Comment Options do one of the following: Select Tools > Options from the Menu bar. Click the Program Options button on the toolbar. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+O. Select Comments in the Options dialog and set the default color for each comment type.
