How can I earn money while enrolled in a master’s program?
Work-study employment is a financial aid program that is awarded to students who have financial need. The program provides jobs for students, allowing them to earn money to help pay their educational expenses. Under the work-study program, a percentage of a student’s earnings is paid through federal or state funds and the remainder is paid by the student’s employer. Students who wish to be considered for the work-study program should apply for financial aid through the U-M Office of Financial Aid. Student may also review our Student Employment Opportunities for temporary or part-time jobs or the Student Employment Office website.
