How can I be one of the better students at school?
First, pay attention in class. Listen intently to what the teacher says and try to get “into” the topic. If the teacher asks a question, try to answer it to keep your mind involved. Second, take notes in class and when you are studying the material. If you have questions about something, write them down and ask the teacher, a parent, or a friend who is good in the course. Third, be willing to actually take time and do the given assignments well; don’t rush through them in haste. If you have a question about the class, pursue the question. Don’t think that you will learn it in time; it could hurt your grades in a HUGE way. Lastly, do not be afraid to ask your teacher/instructor if you could meet outside of school. The worst thing they can tell you is “no” and it is a teacher’s job to help you grasp the information. They should want to encourage you to study and be willing to help you in any way. Hope this helps.
It’s a bit of a vague question so I can only give a vague answer but I hope it helps. I think the best way to be a better student is to try to be a better person. It’s like if you aim for the stars you’l get the moon atleast, kinda thing. I personally think you have the capacity to be something better than a good student, and if you try I’m sure you’l atleast be a good student in the end. Not putting a weight on you ofcourse, don’t ever give in to pressure from other people, but just something you might try.
